Many ancient cultures have traditionally used manual techniques on the feet for relaxation and to bring about good health.

Each foot is like a map of the entire body's functions, connected through the nervous system.  There are specific reflex points on each foot that correspond to different organs and functions in the body.  Because of the number of nerve endings in the feet, they are an easy way to interupt the stress signal and re-set the body's equilibrium.  By stimulating the reflex points, Reflexology helps to balance out the effects that everyday stress can have on the system, allowing the body to heal itself.
